Coach Jocelyn Almy-Testa started running as a small child, up and down the hill in her backyard. Her Grandfather would watch her on the back porch and yell "Jocie, slow down!" She can still hear his voice today, yelling in the yard, and later at her track meets, "C'mon Jocie, go!"

Coach Testa ran for New Bedford High School, Div 1, under coaches Steve Gardiner, Tony Rolfe, David Araujo, and the late Darren DeAndrade and Rhonda Costa, where she was one of the state's top 600 runners and held the state triple jump relay record with her teammates. She also ran for UMass Dartmouth under coach Sheila Edwards where she held a top ten all-time ranking in the triple jump for over 20 years. This past year she won the USATF New England Women's Master's Javelin Championship for her age group. A USATF Level 1 Certified Coach, she has coached for the past twelve years at the high school, middle school, and youth levels, coaching many athletes to State, All-State, and National competition levels, including the Massachusetts Middle School State and Regional Girl's Long Jump Champion, State Relay Long Jump champions, and numerous state medals.

Coach Testa also serves as an elected member of the  Massachusetts State Track Coaches Association Executive Committee (MSTCA), and is the Head Coach of the New England Chapter of the Women's Running Coaching Collective (WRCC)
